It's the type of album that makes you want to buy the rest of the band's catalog even while you realize that you won't tire of listening to this one. This is the only one I have by them, but it's enough to put Berman on my list of lyricists to pay attention to.

This is probably my favorite album ever. I'd be happy to compile you a non-AW Jews primer, if'n you like. Come on though JCL, all this time in Charlottesville and no Berman fetish? It's why I went to UVa! (which, amazingly, is only a half-joke).
Might you be willing to compile me a Silver Jews primer, period, Mike? I've never heard them, AW or elsewhere, and I'm becoming more and more intrigued.
You wouldn't need to worry about mailing up here, I'd be more than happy with a ysi compilation...
